Salary Hikes for Member of Parliament...is it justifiable ?

Over the years our most respectable and so callled best managers of the largest corporation of the country-India ,have been giving statements in bringing development in the country and promising to turning around the country's development trajectory to new strategic heights but u think the country's balance sheet have actually shown those results then why these managers are calling for salary hikes...for what reasons?

if you go through the performance review methods for employee of private corporations even a slight inefficiency on their part can make them loose their job even if this person have better qualities in terms of educational qualifications and consistency in performance .

I think the salary of these so called best managers should be linked to their performance .Other than the basic salary rest should be based on the performance in his minstry or territory.An independent agency should be hired which would define parameters that would actually define the guidelines to measure performance and any under performance should put a fine on every section of the bureacracy

things have changed over the years how the our history have taught us being accountable to our society and the way social accountablility is executed.We have clause 49 for corporate governance which sets guidelines for our Indian Capitalist but do we have certains set of guidelines for the citizens of this country and for the office bearers of bureacratic and political governance.We have given the right to speach and right to information which gives us a mandatory jobs to gossips what our government is doing ,how the national cricket team is performing etc but have we ever thought how much we are accountable to our society .Are we actually contributing to growth of the society or the country either to organic growth or inorganic one .BRIC report publised by Golmansacs stated that at certain point of time we would be the fastest growing economies of the world and we will have the highest number of working population but have you or our government have how can the productivity per unit of population can be grown ...i don't think the Indian low cost labour can create something like Einsten theory of relativity.So at the end of the day we need to work out on upliftment of intellectual human capital of the country and we need to ingrain in them a sense of social reponsibility .This is thing can only be development to higher quality of delivery of education as a product of the end consumer so that they could big out a link between what is taught in the syllabus and the practical execution of the same .We as country as one of the big production house of human capital but we don't have CK prahalad ,Einsten ,rabindranath tagore ......in every mohallah of the country so we need actually to work out on building institutions who can acutally go and create benchmarks for the world out of the different genetic combinations in the Indian.
A system of better delivery of education as a product to common Indian and develop enterpreneurs of social change driven by benchamrk institutions and not colleges and schools which are growing in numbers and working like assembly line production house who work the education mafia of the country to fill their pockets with money
